Piccaninny Gorge is in such a remote part of the Bungle Bungle range, that the first leg of your day will be via helicopter. - Mitchell Falls Discoverer Tour – Aviair
This a day out you will never forget. A new Kimberley walking tour. Mitchell falls is the second largest waterfall in Western Australia and boasts a 3-tier drop. A sight to behold. This full day adventure starts from Kununurra via light aircraft, with an extensive scenic flight and running commentary as you follow the Ord river out toward the coast. Passing over several points of interest along the way. Once grounded, you will be prepared for your 4.5 km hike through the wilderness. Moderate to high fitness required. Lunch is atop the summit of the falls. You will then helicopter above the falls before being returned to your awaiting aircraft which will take you back on yet another scenic route to Kununurra. As you lay your head down for the evening you will feel truly blessed to have experienced such an amazing part of this country.
