Your aeroplane will then touch down at the remote and unsealed Bellburn Airstrip within Purnululu National Park, where you will be met by your local, Indigenous tour guide. Alongside your guide, you will be driven in an air-conditioned 4WD bus to the beginning of your first walking tour. From here, you will embark upon the moderate, three-kilometre Domes Walk where you can explore the famous beehive-shaped Bungle Bungle Domes, with in-depth explanations about their formation and their significance from your guide. You will then head towards Cathedral Gorge – a breathtaking space surrounded by towering orange cliffs. The natural acoustics within the Gorge are awe-inspiring, especially if you are lucky enough to have a talented singer in your group! At this point, you can relax and refuel with a complimentary picnic-style lunch, which can be enjoyed in the shade of the Gorge before continuing on your journey.

You will then walk along the dry, rocky creekbed of Piccaninny Creek. This creek flows during periods of high rainfall, but serves as a great walking track throughout the drier months. After walking along this trail, you will board the bus and be driven back to Bellburn airstrip, where your return flight to Kununurra will be awaiting you. After an incredible day of groundbased site-seeing, your adventure will finish off with another incredible hour of beautiful aerial views as you make your way back to Kununurra.

With the combination of two scenic flights, a day of exploring, and the expertise of your tour guide, this truly is the best way to see the Bungle Bungle in 24 hours!
